This little spot is consistently delicious! Some of the employees can be snarky but the food is always on point! I have had just about everything except the tofu. Beef and chicken are full of flavor and the veggies are always fresh! The ginger chicken with mixed greens is my favorite! Give them a try you will not be disappointed!

Ginger and soy are familiar ingredients across many culinary traditions, so the restaurant’s name gives diners a memorable point of reference before they even explore the menu. The location is an important part of planning a visit. Ginger + Soy can be found specifically at 416 Chapel Dr, making the full street address useful when checking directions, arranging a meeting point, or comparing nearby dining choices. Restaurant reviews often focus heavily on individual dishes, service, or atmosphere, but practical information matters just as much. Knowing the exact address helps diners determine whether a restaurant fits conveniently into their plans and reduces uncertainty when navigating to an unfamiliar location.
The name itself is another useful detail when considering the restaurant. “Ginger” and “soy” are both strongly associated with cooking, seasoning, sauces, and layered flavor combinations. Together, they create a concise restaurant identity without requiring an elaborate title. At the same time, a name alone should not be treated as proof of a particular cuisine, preparation method, or selection of dishes. Diners who want specific information about the current menu, ingredients, dietary options, portion sizes, or prices should therefore confirm those details through the restaurant’s available menu information rather than relying solely on assumptions created by the name.
For anyone reading reviews before deciding where to eat, separating confirmed information from personal experiences can make the research process more useful. Comments about particular meals, wait times, service interactions, and dining conditions can vary from one visit to another. The restaurant name and Durham address, however, provide concrete reference points when comparing different reviews and ensuring that comments relate to the intended establishment.
Ginger + Soy can consequently be considered within a broader search for Durham restaurant locations while remaining easy to identify through its Chapel Drive address. Someone building a list of possible places to visit can record 416 Chapel Dr, Durham, NC 27710 alongside the restaurant name and then consult the latest menu and relevant reviews for additional details. This approach keeps the basic location information clear while allowing individual diners to evaluate current offerings according to their own preferences, dietary needs, schedule, and dining plans.

The menu is way too small, and its surprisingly less exotic than I expected from an asian restuarant. They only have two types of bowls: a normal bowl (with your choice of rice or noodles, beef, chicken ot shrimp and some vegetables) and a bowl with some fish. There isn't much so that was kinda disappointing. The food was good though and its a good safe choice for food. It had good seasoning.
I regret to report that the ramen from Ginger and Soy is always a disappointment. I don’t think I have ever not been disappointed by their ramen, which is slightly too salty, not filling enough, and just not well-integrated in flavors. And yet I still find myself getting it sometimes when the craving overpowers my knowledge that it won’t be so good.
seoul rice is great, other choices are just ok. ramen is fine. dumplings are kinda ok
I had seoul bowl: generous portions, great taste, fast friendly service!
